A horrible crime, committed by a rich woman and her lover, is witnessed by a young boy. The boy lives in fear of his life and is unable to tell anyone what he saw.
This is a story of revenge, as detective Chayne's own clients sabotage his actions, and leave him blind in one eye. The cases then become personal and Chayne vows to destroy the guilty.
